Why train at a heath & fitness club versus a stand-along martial arts school?
American Defensive Arts Academy has been teaching the karate class for over 12 years through the Keller Recreation Department.  Teaching the class at The Keller Pointe in Keller, TX  allows the instructors to devote 100% of their attention to the instruction of the students, rather than the constant maintenance and marketing of a stand-alone school. Besides, it’s nice to get a workout in while your child is in class, and know every instructor has been thoroughly drug screened and background checked.

Without the pressure of having to maintain certain numbers in order to just stay in business,  Folmar Sensei and the ADAA staff take pride in advancing students when they have proven they are ready. It also allows us to offer classes on a no contract basis — there are absolutely no contracts or enrollment fees and you do NOT need to be a member of The Keller Pointe to train. This isn’t what you might think ‘rec center’ karate would be. This is a professional, modern karate school with a certified curriculum and intense focus on values, standards and community. All classes are on high impact gymnastics mats and classes meet every week all year – there are no breaks.

We are a traditional karate school that loves the wholesome, safe, community environment that The Keller Pointe offers. In short, the Folmar,s and assistant instructors teach because they love it. The main goal is not to make a living, but rather make excellent Martial Artists. But don’t take our word for it, come by and try a class!
